Description:
Early Dallas industrial development expanded westward along the Texas & Pacific and southward along the Santa Fe. The T&P Browder Yard was surrounded by heavy industries and the Santa Fe ran beside the yard. Both served the area. In Oak Cliff the Santa Fe’s Ewing Sub switched packing plant, paper mill, and other industries. Like these prototypes, the Dallas Belt & Terminal Railroad serves numerous industries with the 32 car Browder Yard and 30 switching opportunities. Sixteen trains can be dispatched from the staging level. The engine facility services 6 steam and 7 diesel sound-equipped locomotives. Many detailed scenes are situated throughout this city-scaped layout.
Operation:
RailOp and Northcoast DCC. 2 Road Engineer Positions
