Weekly Update - Super Tour

We are very excited to have the bus tour layouts finalized. They should be posted soon on the website. We have a large number of layouts committed and more coming. We are especially pleased to have James Peterson’s new layout on tour. Many of you know James as the proprietor of Discount Model Trains. James has recently moved into a new home and is starting on a large layout modeling the Santa Fe in the Dallas area. Room preparation is underway, to be followed by benchwork. James hopes to have some track laid by convention time. Nevertheless, this is a great opportunity to see a layout in the developing stages. Room preparation is a critical and often overlooked item in layout construction. While we all like to present fully scenicked layouts with trains running, this opportunity is too good to miss.
